Elekta AB is recruiting a legal counsel for our global legal team. This position is located at Elekta’s head office in central Stockholm, Sweden and will report to the Associate General Counsel also located in Stockholm.

Elekta’s legal team consists of experienced legal counsels located across the world, however, still working together as one dynamic team. The legal counsels work in close cooperation with the other functions of the company and actively participate in the day-to-day work of the business. The intention is that each member of the team shall develop and challenge themselves every day at work. The team always strives to provide the best possible solutions for the business considering both the commercial expectations and the legal requirements. What you’ll do at Elekta
In this position, you will work closely with Elekta’s sales and contract administration teams and will review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts related to, among other things, hardware sales and software licensing. You will advise on matters relating to multiple jurisdictions and sometimes coordinate support from local counsels. Working closely with the different functions and business lines of the company, your responsibilities will include advising on all kinds of business law issues. As a member of the legal team, you will develop and provide training to business clients as well as to interact closely with the other legal counsels and support them in different Projects.
What we are looking for
To be a suitable candidate for this position you have a degree of masters of laws and between two and four years of work experience, preferably from a law firm or a company from a similar industry. We believe you have experience from commercial contracts and international transactions. Excellent knowledge in English is essential as our official Group language is English and international contacts occurs on a daily basis for this role.
