SAS Labor Lawyer (Sweden)

We are living in a different world, with changed conditions. During the Corona crisis the airline industry has suffered a lot, including SAS. We have been forced to execute tough decisions, reduce cost and rethink ways of working. But we strongly believe in this industry, we believe in a SAS flying with a high frequency again and taking our travelers to destinations around the world! To be able to get there, we need a strong organization and all employees contributing to that journey. This position is considered critical for the long-term success of our business.

This is a full-time position based in SAS global headquarters in Stockholm. You will report to the Vice President of Industrial Relations and Labor Law. You will be a part of the department responsible for individual and collective labor law, as well as employer policy and collective bargaining for the SAS Group, comprising all countries where SAS operates.

Minimum Qualifications
You must have a Master of law degree from an accredited university, and a minimum of 3-5 years proven experience as a corporate representative in employment law disputes, including collective labor law. Applicants who have worked in a law firm or an employer association have a distinct advantage.

Job Description
You will carry out independent legal investigations, prepare consultation responses and counseling. A large part of the work is continuous labor law counseling to both negotiation teams and managers. You will negotiate key legal disputes. Because we have many issues to deal with that span a wide range of fields, you must enjoy a great variety of tasks, while you get to know the various parts of the SAS group across Scandinavia. You will receive regular training and participate in professional networks. As part of the labor law section, you will join in monitoring labor law and related issues domestically and within the European Union.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A relocation fee is not available.
