Help us provide trusted finance solutions for the many people
As Ikano Bank’s Chief Legal Officer you will be responsible for the bank’s legal strategy to manage and reduce legal risks and exposure. You will be responsible for legal support and advice to the business in legal matters including commercial contracts, consumer credit matters, leasing and factoring matters, regulatory requirements and banking regulations etc. You counsel and assist executive management, the sales departments, and the common functions finance, commercial, operations, IT and project departments on a variety of legal issues and transactions. You will also work with and act as secretary of the board of directors of the bank. You will be reporting to the CEO for the bank, who is located in Malmö Hyllie.
You will be heading up the Legal department with direct reports in Hyllie Malmö and work in close connection with and coordinate the Legal Counsels in our different markets. Your direct reports in Hyllie are within three areas: Legal, Data Protection and Information Security.

We believe you are down-to-earth and have experience from a larger law firm, preferable also as an in-house Corporate Counsel for a listed company or company within the financial industry and will be able to engage immediately with the needs of the organization. Besides being an experienced people leader with the ability to motivate and influence others the following criteria should be fulfilled:
- Passion for business
- Experienced high performing lawyer within commercial and corporate law
- Analytical mind set with the ability to work on a strategic, tactical and operational level
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong ability to build trustful relationships
- Excellent ability to express yourself in verbal and written English
- Ability to turn plans into actions, with experience in delivering work projects across different geographies and in a matrix organization.
- Degree of Swedish Master of Laws and around 10 years of professional experience
