Company Description

LeoVegas' passion is "Leading the way into the mobile future". LeoVegas is Sweden's premier GameTech company and is at the forefront of using state-of-the-art technology for mobile gaming. A large part of this success can be credited to an extreme product and technology focus coupled with effective and data-driven marketing. Technology development is conducted in Sweden, while operations are based in Malta. LeoVegas offers casino, live casino and sports betting, and operates two global and scalable brands - LeoVegas and Royal Panda - as well as a local, multibrand operator collectively referred to as Rocket X. Job Description

  • You will hold overall responsibility for Swedish compliance across the group. As the single point of contact & support, this will cover the full operational compliance life-cycle including (but not limited to) Responsible Gaming, AML, customer complaints, regulatory proceedings and marketing content.

  • In the past 6 months, the Swedish and general compliance landscape has changed resulting in legal & compliance ambiguity. Therefore the successful candidate would prioritise drafting new compliance processes and/or procedures to ensure full compliance with Swedish legislative requirements.

  • You will bring a “Business partner” mentality to the role by collaborating with the Swedish Country Manager to understand the business landscape & product and help solve day to day compliance problems so we can have the best compliance service in the industry. All this whilst working with your compliance team mates to prevent silo issues.

  • Act as the central communication point with the Swedish regulator ensuring your compliance processes are in alignment with their external legislative requirements.

  • As the team is self-driven with no micromanagement you would be personally responsible for accurate and timely reporting to local and overseas regulatory authorities, including those regulating Responsible Gaming, marketing, AML procedures & data protection.

Qualifications

  • 1 year demonstrable experience within an iGaming business (operator, or regulator), compliance/legal or 2 years within a law firm (business or M&A preferably).

  • Native Swedish and fluency in English.

  • Cultural fit is very important. You will share our attitudes of “We make it happen”, “Simplicity rules”, “We chase betterness”, “Trust and accountability counts” and “We are Team Leo”.

  • A 'Spider in the web' mentality, valuing business partnering and support rather than the creation of silos

  • Enjoy the accountability of working and making decisions autonomously in an environment that will always have a level of ambiguity

  • A self driven mentality with the confidence to drive your own agenda instead of micro management support and direction.
