Legal counsel - employment law - Danske Bank

Do you have experience within employment and labour law? We are looking for an ambitious and positive team member to join HR Legal Sweden.

The role
The role offers a great opportunity for an individual to liaise with senior managers and other employees across a number of different functions. Reporting into the Head of HR Legal Sweden, you will work as part of a small HR Legal Sweden team within Group HR and provide commercial and pragmatic employment law advice to HR and the wider business. The job covers all aspects of employment law as well as compensation and benefits issues. You will collaborate closely with both HR, managers and other stakeholders in Danske Bank.

Our team’s responsibilities include: handling day-to-day employment cases, pensions, re-organisations and work environment; collaborating with unions; implementing Group projects; representing Danske Bank in works councils, working environment committees and employer organisations; giving advice on incentives and remuneration issues and take part in various remuneration processes in close collaboration with Swedish colleagues and Group Compensation & Benefits.

The profile we are looking for
You have a law degree and some or several years of experience within employment law. Perhaps you have been working in a law firm or as an in-house lawyer and are now ready to take up a complex position in an exciting organisation.

On a more personal level, you are positive, robust and an excellent communicator mastering both Swedish and English. To be successful in this role you need to have strong planning and coordination skills. In addition, you enjoy building relationships and are able to collaborate with employees and managers at all levels.
